To identify plant genes that recruit beneficial P. fluorescens, we will screen pea genotypes from an association mapping (AM) panel available from our NRC collaborator. This information will be used in a genome wide association study (GWAS) or traditional mapping to identify pea genetic factors that can recruit beneficial P. fluorescens.The Project goal is to deliver bacterial strains or genetic loci that can control root rot pathogens of pea, and pea cultivars, genes or genetic markers that are associated with disease-suppressive microbiomes.

This information will be used in a genome wide association study (GWAS) or traditional mapping to identify pea genetic factors that can recruit beneficial P. fluorescens.The Project goal is to deliver bacterial strains or genetic loci that can control root rot pathogens of pea, and pea cultivars, genes or genetic markers that are associated with disease-suppressive microbiomes.

Project activities include: (1) gathering data and empirical evidence to map out multi-year funding in Lebanon; (2) consulting stakeholders to identify challenges and good practices for multi-year humanitarian funding; and (3) supporting the logistics and organization of a global workshop with key stakeholders on multi-year humanitarian funding.

The work will increase the research team's capability to map environmental parameters from Earth Observation data such as algal biomass and primary productivity, as well as their temporal variability and transportation along the coast.

Project activities include: (1) mapping key stakeholders’ respective capabilities, functions, needs, and points of contact to identify gaps in the overall response and lay the groundwork for coordination; (2) identifying and operationalizing a secure shared communications channel to intake and match requests for support with available resources and capabilities across the network; (3) convening ad hoc briefings in meetings with stakeholders; and (4) undertaking analysis and collecting lessons learned during the response to the Ukrainian crisis.

Project activities include: (1) creating a dashboard that tracks CBRN disinformation related to Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine; (2) providing rapid dashboard and disinformation trends analysis; (3) developing case studies related to various aspects of CBRN disinformation; (4) mapping and characterizing disinformation narratives and tactics related to Ukraine and beyond; (5) developing best practice guidance and measures related to countering CBRN disinformation; (6) consolidating expert opinions on different elements of CBRN disinformation, including needs, impacts, and potential interventions; (7) creating a dedicated project web-platform and project social media account to ho

Project activities include: (1) increasing the capacity of health centres to deliver emergency obstetric and neonatal care; (2) providing nutrition and sexual and reproductive health services (including at least five family planning methods); (3) behaviour change communication activities; (4) providing care for victims of gender-based violence; and (5) completing a mapping activity in order to develop a data management system for data on female adolescent reproductive health and sexual and gender based violence.

FLFNs will use planning and design funds to be able to conduct further community engagement on this initiative, including community mapping and design priorities, and undertake the necessary design work needed to ensure viability and determine cost of the project based on this engagement.
