The project is dedicated to providing high-quality automatic translation for the Canadian legal-financial sector with AI technologies.

This project will explore the pipeline corrosion process and validation of optical technology for corrosion inspection. This will widen opportunities for corrosion management service in the pipeline sector. Through both lab simulated and real-world environmental exposure, sample’s corrosion will be studied using a range of material analysis technologies. A constant feedback and discussion channel, with industry representatives will ensure the validation of optical technology for pipeline corrosion monitoring.

Develop the RELIEF platform and enhancements to get it ready for use by the healthcare system to provide care for end-of-life patients. This project focuses on preparing RELIEF for the quick deployment into the Central West LHIN’s community clinicians.

This project is aimed at creating the world’s most effective platform for helping large scale K-12 learning organizations such as provincial, state and national Ministries of Education provide effective online learning for the students they serve in both a classroom setting and in a “learn at home” setting.

This project's purpose is to improve the hologram location and persistence accuracy of our existing system to with a 3mm tolerance to facilitate the use of our product as a lay-out tool for fabrication.. In addition, we would like to improve the rendering capabilities of our app to be able to occlude information not relevant to the user based on orientation of the user to the object. Finally, we plan to implement an automated dimensioning system that would display relevant dimensional information to the user without the need for additional inputs from office staff. This would coincide with work to create a dynamic dimensioning system that would allow Fabricators to choose custom points to receive dimensional information from.

Makk Design Inc. will develop a modern narrowband single-channel selective (FCC Class A) On-Frequency Heterodyne Repeater for Mobile Radio Systems. This sort of repeater provides radio coverage into obstructed areas such as tunnels, large buildings, vehicles and difficult terrain. Innovative new features include a high degree of automation and monitoring, high reliability, compact size, lower cost, and energy efficiency. The product is ideal for mission critical application such as public safety. Four models of repeater will be developed, covering the most widely-used North American frequency bands. Power supplies and equipment shelves that are necessary for field installations and regulatory approval are included in the scope.

DriveABLE will be developing population-specific predictive impairment assessment algorithms to inform our mobile cognitive impairment assessment tool. This will be achieved by leveraging the data collected through our real-world data set as well as data collected from our strategic development partners and research projects. This project is a core component to our emphasis on mobilizing our science that we can scale into the market demand.
