Project activities include: (1) training domestic care workers on advocacy, leadership, and their right to decent work and living free from violence; (2) conducting feminist research to generate evidence on women’s rights and needs related to paid care work.

It supports local and regional women’s rights organizations (WROs), lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex plus (LBTQI+) groups and feminist networks working to promote the rights of women and girls and advance gender equality in developing countries. It provides multi-year core funding and rapid responsive funding, strengthening institutional capacity and bolstering feminist alliances, as WROs and their networks are critical change agents.

It aims to strengthen Tunisia's climate change adaption by supporting and building climate-resilient, low-carbon municipalities. In line with the Feminist International Assistance Policy, the project will advance feminist climate action by supporting inclusive decision-making and promoting the leadership of women, youth and vulnerable groups in regards to climate governance and climate change.

Project activities include: (1) developing and training paid childcare workers in gender-responsive and inclusive childcare; (2) piloting compensation schemes in targeted early childhood development centres; (3) organizing sessions on positive parenting and father engagement and coalition campaigns for local communities; (4) delivering feminist leadership training to parents, caregivers and community members; and (5) conducting feminist research to support evidence-based advocacy, to increase government officials’ knowledge on rights of paid childcare workers.

This project seeks to improve the capacity of the Syrian Women`s Political Movement (SWPM) to lead as peace mediators and help enhance the organization’s operations as a democratic, feminist movement in the Syrian civic space.

Project activities include: (1) holding political conferences to foster partnerships between the SWPM and other Syrian political actors and entities; (2) facilitating Syrian to Syrian dialogue between the SWPM, the Syrian Negotiations Commission (SNC) and other political actors under them; (3) delivering mediation training for young Syrian women; (4) holding national consultations to cultivate opportunities for dialogue with Syrian women from conflicting governorates inside Syria; and (5) developing written and oral products, such as political position papers from a Syrian feminist viewpoint, podcast episodes, interviews, and videos.

They are aligned with specific Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The project also aims to improve the well-being of the poorest, most marginalized and vulnerable populations by aligning with Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP) while contributing to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through this 27-month project, Southeastern Alberta Sexual Assault Response Committee (Sanare Centre) will develop and put in place a Men’s Employee Recruitment and Retention program and a Men’s Network and Support Group to strengthen the GBV sector. It will address the dearth of men who are employed within and knowledgeable about the GBV sector in Alberta and will address the barriers men face when leading gender equality work, including lack of capacity, institutional barriers, lack of interest and social isolation. To do so, the project will include the development and implementation of two programs: a Men’s Employee Recruitment and Retention program and a Men’s Network and Support Group. Sanare Centre will also develop a sustainability plan for how both programs will be sustained. An external evaluator will measure and assess the impact of the promising practice. Sanare Centre will communicate findings in various formats appropriate for diverse audiences to share information on the promising practice with others so that they may replicate it or expand upon it

By using participatory feminist research methods, PATHS will map the impacts of intersecting barriers for survivors of GBV in their interactions with the legal system and provide recommendations for improvements.
