These consultations will inform the development of Journey Maps outlining the localized conditions and a report card measuring the conditions and factors impacting the social determinants of health of LGBTQI newcomers.

The objectives of the Program are: .• promoting volunteerism among seniors; .• engaging seniors in the community through.mentoring of others; .• expanding awareness of elder abuse, including.financial abuse; .• supporting social participation and inclusion of.seniors; and .• providing capital assistance for new and existing.community projects and/or programs for seniors. .

The contribution supports the promotion and delivery of an educational program for youth (grades K to 12), consisting of developing five giant floor maps and ten smaller versions that will travel coast-to-coast between September 2023 and June 2026 in schools and at Parks Canada administered sites. The maps will present the Parks Canada network of protected places with an emphasis on geography, conservation, environmental and cultural protection stories.

Project activities include: (1) providing technical assistance to national governments in areas that will support the strengthening of social protection and disaster response systems, such as identification and registration, vulnerability analyses, mapping, information management and data analysis, digitalization, and predictions and assessments of the impact of shocks; (2) providing top-ups to increase national insurance coverage made available by CCRIF-SPC, to enable the equivalent portion of payments received following a disaster to be transferred directly through social protection systems to those most vulnerable and in need of assistance; (3) identifying and developing mechanisms for anticipatory action financing to enable the disbursement of funds to the most vulnerable to aid their preparedness in advance of a predictable event (e.g. hurricane); (4) supporting continued progress on establishing and operationalizing the Regional Logistics Hub and Centre of Excellence in coordination with the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) and other partners; and (5) operationalizing the Centre of Excellence training facility and delivering training for disaster response personnel and logisticians.

The first goal is to characterize ground ice and glaciers on Mars at Phlegra Montes with geospatial mapping and ground penetrating radar. This supports the Canadian Space Agency's goal of locating and characterizing ground ice in Mars in preparation for future human exploration.

Implemented in Ghana, Guinea and Côte d’Ivoire, the project takes a systems approach to mitigate key climate challenges through interventions that plan for, pilot and scale Nature-based Solutions for climate adaptation that contribute to enhanced biodiversity and gender equality.

Project activities include: (1) completing, analysing and sharing genetic and environmental DNA (eDNA) based biodiversity assessments; (2) selecting and distributing multipurpose tree species that support gender-responsive climate adaptation and biodiversity; and (3) improving capacity of local businesses, women’s organizations and cooperatives, to deploy more sustainable gender responsive livelihoods models implemented for Nature-based Solutions with biodiversity benefits.

The consortium formed by World University Services Canada (WUSC) and the Centre d’étude et de coopération internationale (CECI) is responsible for the implementation of the project, with the collaboration of key partners such as ABANTU for Development, International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and ICRAF-CIFOR.

Securing ancestral land ownership for tribal communities through mobilisation, capacity building, strengthening the local governance and the use of a GIS-based mapping technology that serves as crucial evidence in claiming land entitlements in Raigad district, Maharashtra State (India)

The objectives of the Program are: .• promoting volunteerism among seniors; .• engaging seniors in the community through.mentoring of others; .• expanding awareness of elder abuse, including.financial abuse; .• supporting social participation and inclusion of.seniors; and .• providing capital assistance for new and existing.community projects and/or programs for seniors. .

Project activities include: (1) supporting multilateral advocacy, outreach and collaboration by the World Health Organization (WHO) at the health-security interface; (2) delivering tailored regional-level mapping and risk assessments to identify gaps and national capabilities to respond to chemical and biological threats; and (3) the developing standard operating procedures for the detection, assessment and management of potential deliberate chemical and biological events.
