This project aims to automate and optimize the auditing process using speech recognition and NLP techniques to transcribe and analyze calls, compare transcriptions with CAD event logs, and ensure proper identification of entities. The system will leverage police-specific vocabulary, RAG-based LLMs, and adaptive learning to improve accuracy while defining the level of human supervision needed through Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) methods.

The 8x8 “Fat Truck” is an articulated vehicle, consisting of a front car coupled to a rear car, with the articulation acting as a steering system. At present, the two cars cannot be operated independently of each other. The project will focus on developing a connection between the two vehicles that will enable the front car to be operated independently of the rear car.

This project aims to develop an advanced AI-driven system to enhance analytics capabilities in sports.

To supplement its existing FireSafe product, Nu Terra will develop deep neural networks (DNNs) tailored to support a new wildfire simulation feature for the planning and assessment side of wildfire management.

The project goal is to design and build a tilt table assembly, with up to 50000 kg capacity, to perform stability tests on heavy commercial vehicles or buses. This presents a significant opportunity to enhance safety and performance in the transportation industry. The project involves creating a robust and reliable system that can accurately simulate real-world conditions, to determine the rollover threshold of large vehicles, ensuring they meet safety standards and regulations.

Hire a recent graduate into a software developer role to implement feature enhancements and infrastructure improvements to the Tenzr Remote Monitoring System for Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

The project focuses on supporting Northern Ontario's agriculture and agri-food industries through a series of applied research initiatives, including:
1) Controlled environment studies, phenotyping, seed germination trials, nutrient response experiments, stress testing, pest and disease resistance studies, integrated pest management trials, and hydroponics studies.
2) Genomics and transcriptomics sequencing and analysis of plant and seed varieties or assessing impacts on plants and seed varieties due to extraneous factors (application of biostimulants, climate conditions).
3) Assessment of biodiversity and species using genomics methodology- this could include fungal, insect, and/or plant varieties.

This is an equal partnership between College Boreal of Sudbury ON and Canadore College of North Bay ON, with each organization lending its inhouse expertise and facilities.
