Participation in the Canadian circular battery technologies mission to South Korea – January 13 to 17, 2025. Delegation led by the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP) to establish relationships with key customers, end-users, investors and other international firms, which will help set the stage for potential Canadian projects in the upcoming International Technology Pilot and Demonstration (ITPD) Program: Cleantech call for proposals.

The objectives of the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy Program (YESSP) are to help all youth navigate through the labour market and to successfully transition into sustained employment. These objectives are attained by supporting the needs of all youth, especially youth facing barriers to develop skills, knowledge and networks through education, skills development and meaningful work experiences.

This project will establish the Workplace Sexual Harassment Legal Advice Program (WSH-LAP) which will provide comprehensive information and legal advice, and other forms of support, for people facing sexual harassment at work in Canada. The project will achieve this by partnering with an established Employee Assistance Program provider that offers the services this program will require: legal advice, therapy, financial counseling, and career support.

The Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic will aim to expand their support for survivors of sexual harassment in precarious workplaces. The focus will be on providing comprehensive advisory legal services both in-person and remotely, ensuring accessibility for those who cannot visit their centers. By broadening their reach, the organization will aim to ensure that more individuals have access to the resources and support they need to navigate their experiences and seek justice.

The organization will create an independent hybrid service accessible to all workers to provide them with free legal support in their efforts to address sexual violence in the workplace. The support will take the form of information meetings and legal recommendations. In addition, the organization will develop legal information materials. Consultations, information sessions and legal resources will be available in both official languages.

The Community Legal Education Association (Manitoba) Incorporated will provide complainants of workplace sexual harassment with a resource – a hotline and dedicated email address where they can get information and advice. The organization will also provide referrals to a lawyer for follow up consultations about employment law and human rights law where the client is interested in hiring a lawyer to pursue a legal remedy.

The organization, through its established panel of lawyers, will offer free independent legal advice program for persons who have experienced sexual workplace through its email, toll free number and live chat.
