This will be accomplished in the following ways: .• Through partnership and joint management of distinctions based investments that will enhance and expand Indigenous ELCC, and support the transfer of ELCC to Indigenous organizations; .• Strengthening foundational supports for Indigenous ELCC through, for example, Indigenous led quality improvement projects; and .• Adapting and improving existing federal programs to be more flexible, adaptable and horizontal across federal departments as a first step prior to transferring control, so that programs cohesively support the goals of the Framework including supporting self determination..

P007015001 & P007015002: The project seeks to improve schooling for children and adolescents aged 4 to 15 years, including those living with a disability, with a special focus on girls. The project targets areas affected by humanitarian crises in Cameroon’s Far North, Littoral and West regions. Project activities are aimed at those whose access to education has been severely limited by a crisis, particularly children and adolescents who have been displaced and repatriated, and those who have become refugees.
Project activities include the following:
1) train 101 education and child protection workers on gender equality, on the rights of girls and on the rights of children living with a disability; 2) train education stakeholders on how to integrate out-of-school children into education systems, particularly girls and children living with a disability; 3) develop and implement gender- and inclusion-sensitive school improvement plans, including the construction of latrines adapted to the specific needs of adolescent girls and children with a physical disability; and 4) train 1,344 teachers on themes related to education in emergencies, gender-based violence in schools, special education and gender-sensitive teaching practices.

The project seeks to increase the enrolment rate of girls in the targeted areas, directly affecting 77,200 girls and 2,100 children living with a disability. Boys also benefit from access to quality education.

Through contribution agreements, the CFLI provides financial assistance to cover all or part of the costs of relatively modest projects conceived, designed and implemented mainly by local authorities, institutions or organizations. The program aims to assist in the advocacy of Canada’s values and interests, and to strengthen Canada’s bilateral relations with foreign countries and their civil societies. The CFLI also seeks to provide humanitarian assistance in the immediate aftermath of natural disasters and emergencies.

This project supports the 2019 16+ Forum, Timor-Leste Annual Showcase, which is a collective undertaking to show case Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies) in action: what implementation looks like, how to go about it, and lessons learned to take forward. Project activities include: (1) organizing the Annual Showcase; and (2) producing a report, which captures the best practices in Sustainable Development Goal 16 implementation and impact, inclusive of challenges, successes and solutions.

MCS has been exported to the USA for use by NASA. Oother countries + companies have near-term lunar ambitions. This project will build upon previous business dev. to expand sales into the new markets of Japan, India and Luxembourg.

Attend technical conferences, tradeshows, exhibitions, visiting potential customers are all very important tools in generating leads. It's well worth the effort, and money well spent. HPBExpo is the largest show of it's kind in NA.
