This project is to improve energy efficiency in Canada's commercial/institutional building sector.

The purpose of this agreement is to increase awareness, availability and use of lower carbon vehicles and fuels in Canada by supporting the installation of 20 electric vehicle charging stations in British Columbia.

This contribution supports the Skidegate Band Council in making upgrades to the Haida Heritage Centre.

The project aims to partner with women's rights organizations in crisis- and conflict-affected and fragile situations of sub-Saharan Africa to build their capacity to effectively produce and use quality data and evidence to advocate for women and girls’ right to education and to make their voices heard in decision-making processes. Project activities include: (1) adapting Equal Measures 2030’s Data for Advocacy training curriculum to focus on barriers to girls’ and women’s education in crisis- and conflict-affected or fragile situations; (2) delivering this curriculum in a workshop to 50 women’s rights organizations from crisis- and conflict-affected or fragile sub-Saharan African countries; (3) conducting deeper analysis of the data, evidence and research on barriers to girls’ and women’s education by women’s rights organizations in two crisis- and conflict-affected or fragile countries; (4) completing a research and opinion leader survey on barriers to girls’ and women’s education in crisis- and conflict-affected or fragile situations; and (5) influencing key targets to collect and use quality data on barriers to girls’ and women’s education in crisis- and conflict-affected or fragile situations.

Energy Savings Rebate Program Funding Regarding Canadian Appliance Source

This project works to increase equal opportunities for school-age girls and young women, including those with disabilities, to attend school in Gogrial West, South Sudan. Project activities include: (1) providing menstrual hygiene management support; (2) constructing safe water, sanitation and hygiene facilities in schools; and (3) conducting training and education sessions with parents, school personnel, students, and school management committees on hygiene, menstrual hygiene management, and sexual and gender based violence (SGBV).

The project aims to support approximately 9,000 school-aged girls and young women in selected primary and secondary schools. Boys are included in specific aspects of the project – such as education, school clubs, hygiene product distribution – to encourage their full participation and reduce instances of SGBV in schools.
This project works to directly contribute to Canada’s G7 Charlevoix Declaration on Quality Education for Girls, Adolescent Girls and Women in Developing Countries.

The purpose of this Canadian International Innovation Program (CIIP) contribution agreement is to support organizations and to identify specific projects or partnerships between the Recipient and international partners in CIIP target countries that could lead to industrial research and development cooperation with potential for commercialization.

Contribution as part of the Policy Dialogue Program to Matawa First Nations Management to assist in preparing for and engaging in participation activities associated with the ongoing Review of Legislative, Regulatory, and Policy Development Processes.

Grant as part of the Participant Funding Program to Kelly Lake Cree Nation to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the impact assessment process for the Prairie Lights Power Project.

Contribution as part of the Participant Funding Program to David J. Shannon for The Council of Canadians; Terrace BC Chapter to assist in preparing for and engaging in Indigenous consultation activities and public participation opportunities associated with the environmental assessment process for the Cedar LNG Project.
