Continued market development needed to grow exports to India's piggery sector. In that its pig industry has been quite unorganized, new dimensions must be developed to justify the importation of frozen boar semen and live pigs.

The candidate will be building an image collection flexible test bench for the purpose of imaging numismatic coins (collector coins).

The project will focus on fine-tuning of the design, building and testing of the core cardiovascular device, peripherals and catheters.

ODI has developed and commercialized a first generation autobender technology for the forming of simple geometry cutting dies. More complex dies require additional manual work. This has posed a challenge to ODI to continue development of this technology investigating technologies such as robotics and vision systems and their potential application for this technology.

This project will incorporate the work done to date by ODI on vision technology and robotics with the first generation autobender for an advanced, intelligent, and autonomous die cutting bender system with higher accuracy, more challenging geometries such as sharp corners, and higher throughput.

The project concerns audiovisual archives that include sound archives and moving images of the first actors and organizations that worked in the Magdalen Islands. By targeting the most fragile collections as a priority, the Centre d'archives régional des Îles will digitize and catalogue these archives in order to facilitate access while preserving their integrity. This project will be followed by an audiovisual commemorative event at the beginning of the second year of the project, marking the 165th anniversary of the post office in the Magdalen Islands and 110 years of the history of the ponchon.

The Canadian Heritage Photography Foundation (CHPF) will digitize part of a collection of photographic negatives bequeathed by George Hunter, Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. Specifically, the organization will digitize 4,000 images of Ontario (the collection includes over 100,000 images), including scenes of mining, aerial photography, farming, cities, small towns and portraits, dating back to the 1950s and up to 2010. This project will make these images available on the CHPF website and enable researchers, local community groups, historians, teachers and the public to access them for reference, historical context, and representations of Ontario’s cultural diversity.

Archival processing and digitization of the documents in the Marcel Sainte-Marie collection. This impressive collection (more than 20.4 linear meters) consists of files documenting many aspects of the life and living environment of the residents of the City of Hull. On the one hand, the project will ensure the preservation of documents in accordance with current archival standards. On the other hand, the project will promote better accessibility of all the documents in the archive for consultation by a wide audience.

The Connexions Archive & Library will expand upon on an existing virtual exhibit funded by DHCP in 2016. In the current project, the organization will digitize and catalogue a large number of documents that broaden the scope of the project to include the geographical areas beyond Toronto’s “Ward 7”, such as Kensington, Parkdale and the Junction. In addition, the project will extend the time period (initially 1970 – 1985) to look further back and forward to the 1990s. This virtual exhibit highlights connections between the materials and images digitized, and the stories they tell about gentrification, urban development, homelessness, access to health care, local organizing and activism.

The project aims at the targeted digitization of historical documents of the Council of the Huron-Wendat Nation, including institutional archives as well as archives of private origin. Digitisation will make it possible to preserve and preserve old and rare documents using digital media. The project will also make available to a greater number of people historical documents that are regularly requested, such as old photographic collections, documents related to reserve maps and plans, lands, etc. The project also makes it possible to involve young Huron-Wendat people in digitization work.
