In 2009 NYN Designs recognised a market for Real Estate website needs. Out of this need the product Real Estate Solutions (RES) was created and results have been a steady growth trend. With a stable income stream it has propelled NYN Designs' growth and continues to grow.

We have identified a market that will compliment the RES product and propel our real estate group into new markets with exponential growth potential. We look to add a new product that is strictly an online eCommerce do-it-yourself economical solution. Clients will visit the website and choose from a series of available solutions and website (a core service), and complete the sale and setup online. This will open markets across Canada and the USA.

Under this Project Zone Startups Calgary (Zone) will provide advisory services to NRC-IRAP client SMEs to:

(1) support commercialization of novel technologies by NRC client SMEs by creating and facilitating connectivity among the industrial corporate customers and NRC client SMEs; and

(2) provide NRC client SMEs with specialized business support capabilities that address strategy, investment readiness, sales & customer introduction, accounting, taxation, legal, marketing, business and corporate development etc. to address all the business and technology issues that enable the SMEs to accelerate commercialization.

Through a partnership with its industrial corporate partners (GE, BHGE and Telus), Zone helps early-stage technology companies jump-start their growth by tapping into corporate partners’ expansive network and leveraging startup accelerator programming that has been successful globally in six Zones operating in Canada, India and Vietnam.

RIDDL provides proprietary data to impact investors to guide better investment decisions. This IRAP Youth project is focused on deploying RIDDL's website and begin work on the business' web application.

This project will enhance Firm visibility through development of marketing strategies and plans.

The firm will develop hardware and software for a hybrid Remotely Operated Vehicle.

We will be developing a Prototype of a object identification system. Using a camera to capture video of an area that includes multiple object types (cars, trucks, motorcycles, people) within a defined view (or views) and to be able to accurately (with accuracy > 95%) classify the objects in the frame and to determine what happens to those objects as time moves on. This will include some type of interface that will interpret the data and make some conclusions (how many unique cars entered the view in 1 hour for example.)

The markets we have targeted to export our expertise are countries needing new/refurbished airports, cruise & train terminals. Activities for expansion includes marketing, meeting with potential clients and buyers to win contracts.

A 2019 initiative is to introduce our products and technologies into the East China market, yielding incremental regional results. Along with attending this trade show we will schedule 2 to 3 business trips to this region in 2019.

Agronomix Software plans to undertake the project of expanding sales into three central European countries. This will be done by attending events in Europe to make connections, build relationships, and demonstrate our software.

The project involves conducting multiple independent laboratory test on a 2 linear meter, 2 stage weighted resin plug utilized to abandoned non-commercial oil and gas wellbores.
Resin Test include the following:
1. longevity of the resins,
2. effectiveness in deviated wellbores,
3. adhesion to different types of steel casing,
4. types of fluid that the resin will be set in,
5. wellbore condition / integrity, and
6. the temperature and pressure setting conditions of the resin
7. a toxicology review of the resins and a risk assessment of potential leaching of the resin plug after setting.
