Acquisition of equipment: The project aims to ensure the quality and durability of the snowmobile trails maintained by the client and used by tourists from outside Quebec.

Marketing plan and development of the offer: The three-year project (April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2022) aims to implement Tourisme Chaudière-Appalaches' marketing plan outside Québec. It also aims to develop the tourism offer for customers outside Quebec.

This project is for the intern to gain experience in obtaining, analyzing and verifying the accuracy of sales orders & requested information for superior cuistomer service in a craft brewery.

The objective of this project is to develop a unique cultivation method; construction of a 0.12-hectare greenhouse and installation of equipment.

The purpose of this CanExport - Innovation (CXI) grant agreement is to support organizations and to build on targeted relationships between Canadian companies/researchers and key organizations in other countries to allow them to proceed with formal discussions to initiate collaboration(s) on future international R&D initiatives that could lead to commercialization of Canadian technologies.

The purpose of this CanExport - Associations contribution agreement is to support organizations and ultimately aims to increase the competitiveness of Canadian companies, in the international marketplace, on a sectoral basis, thereby contributing to Canadian prosperity and the growth of the Canadian economy. This financial support enables the recipient to undertake new or expanded international business development promotion activities, in a given sector, for the benefit of its entire industry (member and non-member firms).

March 2019 - An estimated 7.1 million people across South Sudan are in need of humanitarian assistance and protection across the country as a result of armed conflict, food insecurity, malnutrition, economic decline and disease. Approximately 1.9 million people are internally displaced within South Sudan and almost 2.3 million South Sudanese have sought protection in neighbouring countries. An estimated 6.2 million people are currently severely food insecure, with malnutrition rates over emergency thresholds. Outbreaks of communicable diseases have strained an already overwhelmed health system. Humanitarian access remains restricted in many areas and large numbers of people are accessible only by air drops.

With GAC’s support, the South Sudan Common Humanitarian Fund is providing timely allocations to national and international NGOs and United Nations agencies to meet critical humanitarian needs of people throughout the country. The Fund is managed by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Multi-Partner Trust Fund Office. Support to the Fund is helping to achieve its objectives, including: (1) promoting early action and response to reduce loss of life; (2) enhancing response to time-critical humanitarian requirements; and (3) strengthening core elements of humanitarian response in underfunded crises.

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs’ (OCHA) primary mandate is to oversee the coordination of international humanitarian responses, in partnership with national and international actors, in order to achieve more coherent and effective humanitarian action. This grant represents Canada's regional support to OCHA in Africa, Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean.
With the support of Canada and other donors, OCHA fulfills its mandate by: (1) strengthening humanitarian leadership; (2) establishing and overseeing coordination systems; (3) monitoring and reporting on humanitarian situations; (4) advocating on behalf of affected people; (5) supporting the assessment and prioritization of humanitarian needs and strategic planning; (6) promoting emergency preparedness; and (7) mobilizing funding for humanitarian assistance.
