“As part of the international consortium project “NextGen ADC Platform: Engineering High-Yielding Expression Vectors and Peptide Linker Tags for Advanced ADC Production”, this project will aim to develop a novel expression platform for high-level production of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) with optimized affinity peptide tags for development of advanced antibody drug conjugates (ADCs). This innovative approach eliminates the need for extra conjugation and purification steps, reducing the complexity and cost of ADC production and ultimately produces ADCs that can be reconstituted in the clinic, thereby simplifying the production processes.

The project brings together the expertise from Daresbury Proteins Ltd ("Daresbury"), a United Kingdom-based company specializing in novel expression platforms, the NRC and Eurofins CDMO Alphora Inc. ("Alphora").

Provision of Research Services and Expertise to Canadian Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs)

Superwake is developing a pilot training program to grow its remote sensing as a service business. The goal is to teach new pilots all the skills required to operate fixed-wing, long-range, electric drones with a 25 kg mass and a 5.3 m wingspan. Skills include mission planning, regulatory compliance, safely handling lithium-ion batteries, and manual flying with remote controls.

The proposed project will enhance the firm's existing platform to integrate AI-driven features and new functionality to automate key tasks and improve existing tools for reputation management, practice communication, patient engagement, and patient lead generation.

This project aims to develop a new PFAS (per/polyfluoroalkyl substances) destruction technology that integrates rapid PFAS detection (particle-induced gamma emission) to be developed by firm’s partner (Forever Analytical Solutions B.V., Netherlands), and real-time, data/AI-driven treatment control into firm’s treatment technology. The expected outcome is a reduction of material and energy costs of treatment compared to current standards, enabling economically feasible PFAS destruction, as well as providing real-time treatment performance verification.

This project aims to enhance prescription processing, billing accuracy, and communication efficiency using AI-driven automation. By optimizing workflows, reducing errors, and automating manual tasks, the initiative seeks to decrease prescription processing times, minimize claim rejections, and improve communication between pharmacies, physicians, and patients. The anticipated outcomes include increased efficiency, reduced administrative burden, and improved healthcare service delivery while maintaining compliance with regulatory and privacy standards.
