CIIP - Korea with project partners Protanbio and JB Biotech... Depression, post-concussion mood changes from mild traumatic brain injury, and emotional changes from post-traumatic stress disorder are three clinical entities with similarities in psychiatric symptoms and reported impairments. We will develop point-of-care and imaging diagnostics tools that medical professionals can use to screen for the presence of one of these three conditions or, alternatively, to potentially exclude all of these disorders using serum protein markers.

The project will include the addition of advertising monetization to the Kidoodle.TV application within the Kidoodle.TV multi-device ecosystem. SeeO2 Energy Inc. is proposing to design, build and test a short stack of its innovative solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) technology that can use excess low carbon/renewable electricity to convert waste CO2 into syngas (a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen) by co-electrolysing captured carbon dioxide and water to produce syngas.

Neuraura’s brain device platform is composed of the integration of three distinct components: novel biosensor based electrodes, wireless hardware, and 3D visualization software. While each component has been demonstrated to work independently, the project will focus on the integration of the components into a fully functional Medical Device to accurately determine anatomical surgical excision sites for patients with untreatable epilepsy.

Canadian manufacturers, particularly in rural areas, are not accessing international talent that will support their growth and prosperity to the degree that is possible, nor are enough of them accessing the federal and provincial immigration programs and services designed to support them. This situation needs to be addressed so that Canadian manufacturers actively participate in immigration programs and services to help address their current and emerging talent gaps when the domestic labour pool fails to provide the needed talent.
