Improve production efficiency and develop an export strategy to access the Chinese market

The aim of this 33-month project is to develop a strategic plan for the organization in order to reorganize and strengthen RECAF's organizational capacities. The concept of gender will be integrated into the organization's system of operations, allowing the organization to better meet the socio-economic needs of Francophone women and girls of ethno-cultural origin and contribute to gender equality.

The financial and time supplement is granted to allow RECAF to finalize the drafting and promotion of a manual on the concept of gender, and to strengthen the capacities of the Francophone community network in Ontario to serve Francophone women and girls of ethnocultural origin.

This 24-month project will address organizational capacity to allow Hiatus House to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced by strengthening internal Human Resources policies and procedures; updating the payroll management system to mitigate risk and improve recruitment and retention; as well as a website revision to ensure accessibility in both official languages through a user-friendly platform for the Windsor-Essex County community members and partners.

Supplemental funding will be used to improve internal team’s ability to provide safe and flexible care for all women by bringing knowledge and tools to improve and evaluate outcomes and by partnering with the Indigenous community; to increase diversity of funding and implement collaborative initiative to increase sector sustainability.

This 48-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow Kitchener-Waterloo Young Women's Christian Association to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the development of an advocacy strategy to heighten participation in existing advocacy events and campaigns raising awareness about gender-based violence, as well as the establishment of a medium-term advocacy campaign, 'Woman Up Waterloo.' This new campaign will include community engagement, a sustainable fundraising strategy, and the collection and analysis of gender-based data to inform community programming and be made available through a newly created database.

Supplemental funding will be used to acquire a printer and software as well as hire external specialists to assist with content writing and graphic design.

This 24-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the Young Women’s Christian Association of Cambridge (YWCA Cambridge) to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the development of a social enterprise model connected to the local food industry that will create opportunities to advance the economic security of women and gender nonconforming individuals who face barriers and discrimination in finding employment and meaningful connections.

The supplemental funds will cover the costs of physically moving the social enterprise to a new location.

This 49-month project will address organization capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic changes towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: human resources management, board governance, strategic planning, Gender-Based Comparative Analysis Plus, and restructuring of the organization.

The additional funding will be used to increase the number of hours allocated to the project in order to ensure its progress in the context of COVID-19.

This 60-month project will address organization capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic changes towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: human resources management and development of a practice framework based on an intersectional feminist approach.

The additional funds will be used to develop an implementation strategy for the previously developed Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Practice Framework and to implement this practice framework within the organization to strengthen its capacity to advance equality for women and girls from an intersectional feminist perspective.

This 60-month project will address organizational capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic change towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: strategic planning; partnership development, organizational financial health and sustainability plan.

The 12-month extension and additional funds will allow the organization to increase their organizational capacity through a variety of activities: boosting community engagement, ooverseeing their financial management strategies, and developping an advocacy strategy. Further, they will develop a transition plan to ensure organizational health and knowledge is retained as previous leadership transitions out.

This 60-month project will address organization capacity needs to allow the organization to continue promoting social and systemic changes towards gender equality. Organizational capacity will be enhanced through the following activities: strategic planning, partnership development, collaboration, sectoral coalitions and networking, and development of a claims strategy.

The 12-month extension and supplement will enable the organization to support management capacity, enhance technical expertise from an intersectional feminist perspective, strengthen collaboration among partners and, finally, advance the cause of women through an intersectional approach.
