The project will focus on implementation of a number of significant process and product improvements to move the Digital Health platform from a proof-of-concept to a full prototype as the next step towards clinical studies, investment interest and ultimate commercialization.

GREEN YOUTH

Steam traps are common valves found in all steam utilities, which includes central heating systems, thermal power generation, and many types of manufacturing. Steam traps are known to fail frequently, and these failures often go undetected, resulting in wasted energy and potential safety hazards. The ability to predict and rectify failures immediately improves plant efficiency, reduce wasted energy, improve safety, and is consistent with lean manufacturing practices.

Commercialize & further validate integrated hardware/software solution to monitor, predict, and rectify failures in industrial steam traps.

Youth Green - Development of the mobile application of the cropping system

The RCP8.5 scenario in absence of climate change policies, combines assumptions about high population and relatively slow income growth with modest energy intensity improvements, leading in the long term to high energy demand and GHG emissions, (worst case scenario) Using our AR-map technology we are building a tabletop map of Europe to present the possible effects of climate change based on the RCP8.5 scenario including land loss to seal level rise, regions of crop failure, and the effects of migration as climate refugees change the face of Europe. This piece is meant to raise awareness of the future we will face within this century in a scenario of no course correction on anthropogenic climate change.

The Recipient agrees to facilitate the development of the newly formed British Columbia Indigenous Justice Association (BCIJA) through several activities. They include bringing together BCIJA members and advisors, conducting research on different structures of and steps of establishing a provincial organization, designing website to share communications, arranging a 3-day board governance structure training, strategic planning for BCIJA, as well as developing and potentially finalizing by-laws. With inclusion of all Indigenous justice partners in British Columbia, this project will support sustainable community development and build a strong partnership among community-based Indigenous justice programs in the province.

Carry out research on Bigstone Cree Nation legal traditions and develop guidelines, traditional legal processes and terms of reference for the justice committee.

The Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society will provide a culturally-based rehabilitation and reintegration program for Indigenous youth involved in the criminal justice system who are involved with or vulnerable to gangs. Using a restorative justice model, the program will support youth's specific challenges and personal growth and will involve family and community partners. The organization will develop a guide that will educate stakeholders in the community about culturally appropriate and sensitive approaches to working with crime involved youth as well as delivering awareness sessions in schools on the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Savormetrics will advance its current technology, Artificial Intelligence driven sensing solutions which provide end of line quality metrics for food processors to incorporate start of line and inline detection and prediction of harmful chemical formation and product quality metrics in potato processing. These products will improve procurement practices, inventory movement, and QA/QC practices for food processors, resulting in reduced shrinkage and increased profits.
