With this project MTB will become the first bus repair/refurbishment company in Canada to offer diesel to electric repowering. Repowering diesel buses will extend their lifespan by up to eight years as well as support significant GHG emissions reductions, amounting to approximately 83% or more fewer emissions per bus.

The Recipient agrees to provide justice related professionals and para-professionals from community partners with a number of workshops, namely: three interactive workshops for up to 30 community members to increase their knowledge of Indigenous cultural and spiritual practices, a four-day Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) awareness workshop for up to 36 participants to increase professional caregivers' ability to support Indigenous clients, and three one-hour lunch orientation sessions to cultural practices and ceremony to approximately 10 court professional each to increase knowledge of cultural practices and the important of healing plans attached to court orders. The project will therefore increase cultural competency in the community by providing information and awareness related to Indigenous culture, traditions and practices.

The Recipient agrees to provide a three-day train-the-trainer workshop to a maximum of fifteen participants, who have taken the Peacemaking Circle training, to be able to train others on facilitating peacemaking circles. Workshop participants will be representatives from the seven communities the Recipient serves, working partners in Williams Lake and other First Nation communities. The project will enable members to incorporate restorative practices in their own communities and will result in more peacemaking circle facilitators, thus increasing the capacity of the communities to settle conflict among their own members.

The organization is requesting funding to deliver its court-based programs and enhance the capacity of the corresponding Free Legal Advice Hotline. Through developing recruitment, training and knowledge resources for volunteers as well as programming new document assembly tools, the organization will make its programs more efficient and further leverage and amplify the impact of its pro bono lawyers.

The project consists of the development of a dedicated French website with comprehensive plain-language family law legal information. The website will provide the same family law information currently provided in English on the Family Law Saskatchewan site and will also have the same interactive tool, allowing users to apply for a divorce in French without the assistance of a lawyer.

Fairtax will develop a new online software platform, GrantMatch that utilizes machine based learning to capture government funding programs, historical grant approvals, and qualitative funding news.

RBR proposes to develop innovative ocean sensors and manufacturing technologies with reduced product costs to enable new applications with substantially higher volumes in ocean science, surveillance, and industry.

The proposed project will develop a new high-value service client; this involves establishing “synthesis and validation of hits” at 48Hour Discovery INC (48HD). The deliverable from achieving this objective is an extremely valuable investigational new drug (IND) enabling discovery pipeline. The pipeline consists of I) genetically-encoded library technology (BiGEL2) for the discovery of bicyclic ligands for cell-based targets, II) high throughput synthesis of selected discovered ligand, III) measurement of binding and specificity profile and IV) permeability assays. These scaffolds are stable and resilient to simulated gastrointestinal conditions and thus, the discovery platform will provide potentially oral and bioavailable therapeutics.

This project aims to develop a dependency database of building parts to support decision making in the design of buildings by solving ambiguity caused by dependencies amongst building parts.

The project aims to develop a novel helicopter-based system for transient electromagnetics (QTEM) with very high dipole moment (TX), the lowest noise (both enhance the signal-to-noise ratio, SNR) and the best bandwidth over competing systems to account for a significant share of the rapidly growing market in airborne electromagnetics for oil, gas and mineral exploration, hydrogeology and more.
