UKRI Critical Minerals – 10110414 - MAGSIN - Magnesium Synergy Initiative. The Magnesium Synergy Initiative (MAGSIN) is a collaborative research and development project between Nanomox Ltd., a UK-based innovative materials company, and SIGMA Devtech, a Canadian-Quebec company specializing in magnesium oxide production.

FLYHT is developing a suite of Actionable Intelligence hardware and software tools and communications suites including weather/climate sensors for monitoring / forecasting; reducing airline delays and fuel burn; eliminating contrail production; facilitating airline transition to 5G and Satcom; and supporting achievement of NetZero by 2050. This project will support the development and integration of all required software systems and tools.

Assess the viability to develop and adopt a new production planning methods and tools.

The objective of this project is to establish an operations center in Simple Solar facility to improve client communications, project implementation and inventory management. Simple Solar uses a part-time contractor working remotely to coordinate project implementation with the client, permitting agency and licensing authority. Also, custom materials and operating supplies to implement solar projects have been purchased by the electrician tasked with the installation. As a result of these arrangements, there are several points of contact with the client as the project progresses from initial inquiry, through order confirmation, planning, procurement, implementation and commissioning.The new position will provide client's a primary contact.

The project involves the experimental validation of a newly developed variable buoyancy oyster farming system designed by King Aquaculture Inc. The system, initially tested in larger formats, has been optimized into a smaller, more manageable size. The goal is to increase the productivity and sustainability of oyster aquaculture by comparing the performance of this new system against traditional floating cage systems.

This project develops a tool for farmers to predict weed emergence for targeted strategic weed management (via both herbicide and non-chemical options), and for early detection of emerging herbicide resistance.
