Haplotech has two facilities located at the Fort Gary campus Winnipeg and LaSalle, Manitoba. Haplotech is currently in process of transferring operations between the two facilities. This process requires fine-tuning the facilities in La Salle including optimization of the growing conditions in terms of soil, water, nutrients, light and air quality. The project will engage the services of 2 Green Youth employees who will be employed to perform various duties to support this process.

ZayZoon is pursuing machine learning to better adjust to customer behaviours and provide insights on better money management.

Supporting the commercialization and operations of the optimized geothermal exploration (OGE) pilot undertaken by Borealis Geopower Inc.

The project will add functionality which will increase the engagement of content on screens, which will increase the revenue generated from the network. In order to increase engagement the project deliverable will enable to objectively measure the level of engagement that a particular advertisement commands with a particular demographic and other external factors affect the effectiveness.

Nicoya Lifesciences’ vision is to extend human life by enabling deeper knowledge of the biological world. We do this by giving researchers the tools they need to make their next big discovery. Our flagship product, the OpenSPR, is used by hundreds of scientists all over the world and has enabled significant new discoveries to be made related to human health, diseases, drug, and therapies. This project involves the development of the next generation of our surface plasmon resonance (SPR) instruments that will allow researchers to generate even more meaningful data faster and for less money.

6779264 Manitoba Ltd., located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is in the process of revising its product capability and capacity to meet customer, regulatory and business demands in a more efficient manner. This project supports that initiative.

Project is to develop a system that identifies biomarkers to predict Alzheimer Disease, a few years before the actual symptoms of the Neurodegenerative Disease (NDD) are fully apparent.
Machine Learning algorithms will be used on collected sensor data, recorded by ROVER, a wearable gait analysis device developed by Sensoplex.
The algorithms compare walking motion data of patients who have been diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) or Alzheimer Disease (AD) against healthy individuals of same age and gender to find digital biomarkers that separate healthy subjects form the patients with MCI or AD.

Mill work accounts for approximately 10% of the budget for any renovation or new build. It is the largest contributor to formaldehyde and harmful VOCs into the built environment. Empire Kitchen and Bath intends to add new products to its existing line of high quality custom cabinetry. The new cabinetry product will offer contractors, homeowners and commercial builders the option of a zero or lowest possible VOC and formaldehyde emitting product.
The ability to define, design, create and manufacture this new line of healthy cabinetry to a verified off gassing standard will require additional resources and present some technical challenges.

Research and development of new styles of non-alcoholic beers including Pale Ale, Lager, Red Ale, Stout, protein beer and an energy beer.

The project is focused on the development and production (at pilot scale) of low cost dopant/coating treatments for nickel-rich Li-ion battery cathode materials, with the purpose of improving the cathode's electrochemical durability and stability. The project builds on the firm's extensive experience with its proprietary cathode production process while aiming to enhance its competitiveness.
