This International Co-Innovation Action Program (ICAP) project will prepare the firm to enter into future international co-innovation work.

CanBiocin develops non-medicating zootechnical feed additives to support animal health and wellness brands. These additives include species-specific probiotics, prebiotics, and postbiotic metabolites. Market insights highlight three key areas for development: elucidating probiotic mechanisms of action, refining protective microencapsulation, and expanding probiotic solutions for underserved markets. This project addresses these challenges, enhancing product efficacy, scientific validation, and market potential.

The firm is repurposing Canola and developing a new seed oil variety named Brahmola. The firm has developed technology that results in introducing meaningful levels of medium chain fatty acids to the traditional oil profile of Canola. Seed Oils derived from Brahmola is deemed to be potentially suitable for applications such as in formulating infant formulae, for deep frying as a superior cooking oil, for aviation fuel, and for developing new home care and personal care products This project will help the firm gain critical data to support the eventual approval for Brahmola as a new oil seed crop for as an agricultural crop.

The proposed work will expand on MESO's development in preparation for commercialization. Two key focus areas in Phase 2C will be to:
• Engage representative users to test MESO using defined case studies with known results. Feedback will be solicited from users and co-innovation partners in order to identify key areas for improvement, flag bugs and discrepancies in results, and to provide insights related to user experience.
• Participate in targeted conferences and B2B meetings to expand the reach of MESO's potential user base.

Innovotech Labs Corporation is seeking to develop and establish antimicrobial testing methods in order to align with upcoming changes in international regulatory standards in the areas of proliferation, biofilm formation, and translocation of microorganisms. Potential applications include antimicrobial testing methods for medical devices such as wound dressings, intravascular catheters, and sub-dermal implants.

In partnership with a large Multinational Pharmaceutical Partner, the Firm will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of its Fusogenix formulations optimized for delivery of genetic medicines to the trabecular meshwork of the eye to treat ophthalmological diseases. The project will validate previously optimized trabecular meshwork formulations combined with the pharma partners mRNA cargo and Entos cargoes including DNA in small and large animal models.

The main objective of this project is the development of a Power over Data Line (PoDL) powered Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) industrial universal sensor. The sensor will be used in the industrial environment and provide up to 10Mb/s of sensor data over 1km of single over single pair wire.

This innovative SPE technology will transform industrial communication by expanding Ethernet capabilities and replacing legacy standards and protocols, creating end-to-end Ethernet-based industrial control systems. The project will address challenges in extending Ethernet over long distances while ensuring robust data security.

This project will develop a cloud-based QMS for QA and Production to replace the current paper-based QMS system.

This project will involve testing the efficacy of a lead mRNA therapeutic and designing of novel mRNA sequence modifications to modulate mRNA expression in a tissue-specific manner.
