WellFish Tech is a company which focuses on the assessment of fish health and welfare via non destructive sampling of fish. Based on a comprehensive data bank we aim to develop models for Canadian aquaculture which can lead to the application of AI in the industry to improve fish health and welfare.

This addition to the single house treatment system will give the firm the funds to redesign the original pilot project design with knowledge gained through the manufacturing, installation and operation of the pilot project , to create a design that is more cost effective, ease of installation, operation and which can be shipped to market easier and more cost effective. This will get firm to the next stage on readying the project for commercialization in the second or third quarter of 2025. The additional sampling and testing will help the firm get the regulatory approval sooner with more and complete testing of the effluent.

This market research initiative explores opportunities for advanced alloy development by analyzing industry trends, material demands, and competitive landscapes. Through targeted research and feasibility assessments, the project will highlight promising areas for innovation, guiding future R&D efforts and ensuring alignment with market needs.

The firm will conduct an immersive review of all potential robotics applications that have the potential to assist with post production preparation of carbon fiber parts. Processing carbon fiber parts in preparation for paint is laborious. Upwards of 80% of that labor is not skilled, it is largely removing material. The final 20% is highly skilled. The firm believes that robotic automation in this area could reduce bottlenecks in production flow, retain staff in that area by reducing a lot of labor and allowing them to both operate the robot as well as use their skills, and generally increase revenues by improving throughput.

Treefrog is adopting AI to deliver enhanced digital strategy optimization services to users.

Bluedrop has been experimenting to migrate/convert the HMTS to a Mixed Reality (MR) solution, but still has a final technical hurdle to overcome. This project will focus on eliminating the lag between the virtual hoist cable and visible physical hoist cable so that the lag does not reduce the immersive quality of the simulation.

This project is to determine the opportunities, challenges and finally the feasibility of creating a new product that would bring Duinkerken into a new market segment.

Robert Allan Ltd. intends to develop a new Class-approved improvement for methanol fueled tugs. The optimization is in an improved method of venting vapour that accumulates above the methanol tanks.
