This project will enable the firm to conduct the market analysis and formulate the commercialization approach of its platform for the content marketing industry.

This project aims to develop dual-functionality BioNanoCoil (BNC) biopolymers as both binder and dewatering agents in one continuous process in the food and animal food processing industry. By combining these two functions into a single process, BNC prevents excessive decay in the feed line, enhances the process water efficiency, and reduces operational costs, while the traditional methods often require separate processes for binding and dewatering, which can be more energy-consuming, labor-intensive, and costly. This project can represent a significant advancement in second-grade food processing industries.

The project aims to support and increase the cyber security posture of innovative Canadian SMEs of all sector of activities through 25-hour engagements and other cybersecurity services.

Renewable Structure Ltd. is developing advanced geodesic domes designed to withstand harsh Canadian climates, with features including Nanocoating for maintenance-free use and integrated solar panels for sustainability. These versatile domes are intended for various applications such as dining, glamping, and events. The project aims to boost local employment, support economic growth, and position Canada as a leader in innovative, eco-friendly building solutions. The domes will be produced locally in Edmonton, ensuring high quality and affordability.

The project will enable the firm to implement the recommended IP actions defined in their IP strategy.

qVision is a computer vision-based machine learning application, developed by the firm, that can detect corrosion using an asset’s image, and provide quantifiable information to enhance predictive maintenance practices. Presently the firm has received customer interest from shipping companies. To meet the unique requirements for the corrosion inspection of those shipping companies, in this project frame, we will develop a tailor-made qVision application.

NanoWaterTech Inc. is actively piloting its innovative nanofilter technology with a major oil & gas company. This pre-field testing aims to demonstrate NWT's advantages over existing solutions.

Head-to-Head Performance Comparison: NWT's nanofilters will be directly placed alongside the incumbent technology during testing.

The Project will support development of intellectual property capacity within the Firm.

The firm has executed an agreement with Nomad Power (based in Vermont, USA). The intent of the agreement is for the firm to represent and promote Nomad’s Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS) to the Atlantic Canada market, and to expand its service offerings and gain expertise in the BESS sector.
One of the target markets for BESS is northern and remote communities that are serviced by isolated electrical grids (micro-grids) supplied by Diesel powered generation.
The firm has recently had meetings with a representative of the NunatuKavut Community Council (NCC) to explore the possibility of integrating a BESS to the Black Tickle, Labrador micro-grid to supplement the existing diesel generation and a recently installed solar power system.

The firm has recently executed an agreement with Nomad Power (based in Vermont, USA). The intent of the agreement is for the firm to represent and promote Nomad’s Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS) to the Atlantic Canada market, and for the firm to expand our service offerings and gain expertise in the BESS sector.

The scope of this project is to Market and Promote Nomad’s products and the firm's services to proponents in the Atlantic Canada jurisdiction.
