It will improve the safety of vulnerable children and family members throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and the recovery phase. Funding will increase service capacity to vulnerable children and their families, expand existing services, implement innovative solutions and improve access to court-ordered supervised visits across the province.

This project will construct an open-concept, accessible, outdoor pavilion on the Richmond Fair grounds located in the village of Richmond, Ontario.

This project will improve two 1km stretches of trail within Rock Dunder Nature Reserve located in Morton leading to the Gananoque River system in Eastern Ontario.. Improvements will increase accessibility and safety as well as improve visitor experience for those who wish to use the trails.

The project will construct a new site entrance and parking to access amenities at the Bolton Camp Site. The new site entrance and parking will provide safe access/egress for community users utilizing the recreational area. The objective is to improve traffic sight lines and allow for a larger capacity of community users to safely park in the property. The project will support site preparation, architectural and electrical, earthworks and removals, and landscaping. The site consists of a baseball diamond, swimming pool, recreation hall, trail system, and programs for youth and families.

The project will improve washrooms located in Albion Hills Conservation Park. The project will winterize and improve accessibility of 3 new 35-sq.m. washroom buildings to be installed and 1 existing washroom building to be replaced with a 35-sq.m. building in the park. Accessibility upgrades to the washrooms include adult change tables; wall-mounted sinks; sensor flush, taps and hand dryers; grab bars; and push-button doors. The project will help revitalize Albion Hills Conservation Park and support future year-round programming, while allowing for a more inclusive visitor experience.

This project will create a new accessible community space along the Arnprior Public Library exterior and renovate 500 sq ft of the library interior to improve the space for public meetings and programming. The project includes outdoor access to free Wi-Fi and an automatic door installation.

This project will support the expansion and installation of accessible features for the existing Alexandria Skate Park located in Island Park in the city of Alexandria. This project will expand the existing skate park by nearly 200%, from 3,525 square feet to 9,670 square feet.

This project will improve the Last Duel Park located in Perth by constructing a riverside pathway and installing an Indigenous healing garden.

The project will create improvements to the Hamilton Children’s Museum, a heritage building located in Gage Park in downtown central-east Hamilton. Improvements will include supporting an addition to the existing building to add interior programming space with barrier-free entrances and bathrooms, and assisted technologies for the visually impaired. The project will install an elevator to improve access to the second floor in the existing building. Finally, exterior space will be improved and expanded to create one large outdoor gathering space, a children’s garden with native and drought resistance plants to support local ecosystems, and two exterior patio play spaces with a fenced yard for secure outdoor play.

The project will increase accessibility at the North Hastings Community Arena in Bancroft. The project will support improved access to the arena for people with mobility challenges by installing a proper accessible entrance to the building which includes an electronic door opener, and an accessible elevator to the second floor of the arena.
