In accordance with the Access to Information Act, the government proactively publishes the package of question period notes that were prepared by a government institution for the minister and that were in use on the last sitting day in June and December.

Canada-Quebec relationship on immigration matters
On August 4, 2020, two explosions took place at the Port of Beirut, resulting in more than 175 fatalities, 6,500 hospitalized and many more injured, 40 persons missing and another 300,000 who have suffered damage to their homes. On August 13, 2020, the Government of Canada set up a task force to provide assistance to support the delivery of consular services, and to ensure that questions related to immigration can be quickly addressed.
