In accordance with the Access to Information Act, the government proactively publishes the package of question period notes that were prepared by a government institution for the minister and that were in use on the last sitting day in June and December.

On March 26, 2021, the B.C. Provincial Court accepted a guilty plea by Teck and a joint sentencing submission between the Crown and the company. As part of the resolution, Teck agreed to pay a penalty of $60 million. This is the largest fine levied to a company under the Act.

On March 23, 2021, a motion was presented to the House of Commons to recognize that there is systemic and overt racism in the RCMP following a report by the Civilian Review and Complaints Commission that revealed that the RCMP destroyed records of police communications from the night Colton Boushie was murdered, and call on the government to: […] (e) immediately launch a full review of the use of force by the RCMP, including reviewing the tactics and the training that is given to RCMP Regular Members in dealing with Indigenous peoples and communities.
Shared Services Canada’s customer departments continue to manage most of their applications. These customer department applications are often aging and require constant maintenance. Shared Services Canada is working with customer departments to identify risks and mitigate service disruptions. Shared Services Canada is driving hosting renewal (with migration to its enterprise data centres and/or to be hosted within the Cloud) while customer departments are responsible for their application modernization plans.
