In accordance with the Access to Information Act, the government proactively publishes the package of question period notes that were prepared by a government institution for the minister and that were in use on the last sitting day in June and December.

It is administered by Canadian Heritage with the support of its partners.
The mandate letter (December 2019) of the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages includes the commitment to undertake an “enumeration of rights-holders and a thorough post-Census survey to better account for and better serve minority language communities.”
