Description:
This project addresses an engineering undertaking of utilizing collaborative robots in the assembly of deformable parts. This project aims to automate the installation of various non-linear automotive components through the development of a system that can hold, position, and guide these parts while being installed on a modular subsystem. The automation system will also ensure that connections are made in the correct order by using reliable measurement and force sensing technologies in combination with advanced vision systems.
