Program Purpose:
The objective of the project is to recover biomass-derived waste heat that is currently produced by the existing on-site energy system. This waste heat will be used to generate electricity using an Organic Rankine Cycle system. The project will provide revenue diversification and improve mill efficiency, while demonstrating the technology for the first time in this type of industrial establishment in Canada.
