Description:
The College Special Initiatives grants cover the expenditures for the organization of Industrial Research Chairs for Colleges and Technology Access Centers (TACs) best practice meetings. These meetings are motivated by the CCI Program performance evaluation report which strongly recommended the sharing of best practices among college grant holders. The Research Partnership Management’s response agreed with this recommendation and stated that actions would be taken by NSERC to encourage the sharing of best practices. These meetings are one of the promised actions.
