To build Indigenous and local communities' capacity to support the development of partnership and collaborative opportunities between TC and Indigenous groups as well as amongst Indigenous groups for the purpose of administrating and implementing elements of the transportation system To create opportunities for Indigenous groups to gather information provide their views and collect protect and utilize Indigenous knowledge for the purposes of implementing TC initiatives obtain responses to their concerns about decisions and inform decision makers in their consideration of potential adverse impact on Indigenous rights before making decisions.
