Description:
Through this 28-month project, the Quebec Lesbian Network will strengthen the capacity and networks of 2SLGBTQI+ community organizations to advance 2SLGBTQI+ equality. The project will address lesbian, bisexual, and queer women’s invisibility within the 2SLGBTQI+ community in Canada as well as the need to develop a more inclusive approach for bisexual and immigrant women and for non-binary and transfeminine people. The project will include developing a survey and a Canada-wide conference, consulting with excluded and marginalized groups of women+, compiling a collection of texts by sexually diverse immigrant women, developing inclusive tools, and integrating an intersectional perspective into the organization.
