Statistics from January 1, to December 31, 2019, on all live imported non-domesticated wildlife species that do not require an import permit but are inspected and released by the Canada Border Services Agency. Broken down by importations for commercial and non-commercial purposes. Additionally, the number of live animals imported, broken down by the: species or taxomic name, country of origin, country from where consigned, animal source, and purpose for importation. This includes all reptiles, amphibians, birds and non-domesticated mammals; but excludes plants, fish, invertebrates, livestock, other domesticated mammals, domesticated cat, domesticated dogs, guinea pigs, donkey, horse, ferret, rabbit, fancy mouse, and fancy rats.
