Statistics from January 1 to December 31, 2021, on the number of all live imported non-domesticated wildlife species that do not require an import permit but are inspected and released by the Canada Border Services Agency for commercial and non-commercial purposes. Broken down by: species or lowest available taxonomic category, country of origin, country from where consigned, animal source, and purpose for importation. This includes all reptiles, amphibians, birds and non-domesticated mammals, but excludes: plants, fish, invertebrates, all livestock and other domesticated mammals including cats, dogs, guinea pigs, donkeys, horses, ferrets, rabbits, fancy mice, and fancy rats. Additionally, this includes other mammals not on this list whose status as domesticated or not is uncertain.
