Final records held by the Canada Border Services Agency within the War Crimes and Serious Inadmissibility Unit (WCSIU) and the Centre for Immigration and National Security Screening (CINSS) and predecessor units regarding the 2SLGBTQI+ (two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or intersex) people created in relation to inadmissibility to Canada under paragraph 35(1)(a) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) or paragraph 19(1)(j) of the former Immigration Act. Also, the files or cases, or lists of such cases, concerning alleged victims of crimes against humanity alleged to have been targeted by virtue of their sexual orientation, gender identity and expression (SOGIE) or any such files or cases concerning 2SLGBTQI+ people in the context of establishing inadmissibility to Canada under paragraph 35(1)(a) of IRPA or paragraph 19(1)(j) of the former Immigration Act. Finally, the advancement of 2SLGBTQI+ equality rights pursuant to the Federal 2SLGBTQI+ Action Plan 2022 any other policy or a departmental mandate letter in the context of immigration enforcement.
