Additionally, the operational guidance used to screen applicants from the Former Yugoslavia for inadmissibility under the Immigration Act regarding security or war crimes. Include the following keyword searches: 'HOS' (Hrvatske obrambene snage), 'El Mudzahid' or 'Foreign Fighters', 'Arkan's Tigers' (Srpska dobrovoljacka garda), '7th Muslim Brigade', 'HVO' (Croatian Defence Council), Army of the Republic of Sprska (Vojska Republike Srpske). Finally, the criteria used to differentiate between 'bona fide refugees' and 'security threats' based on military or paramilitary affiliation.
