Summary:

I am writing to request clarification regarding the eligibility criteria under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) for candidates currently residing and working inside Canada. Specifically, I would like to understand how the following scenarios are assessed for eligibility and CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) points under Express Entry: A candidate is currently working full-time in Canada for a Canadian employer on a valid work permit. The same candidate is also working full-time remotely for a foreign company (outside Canada), in a capacity that aligns with a skilled occupation under the NOC system. I seek clarification on: Whether the work experience gained with the foreign employer while physically present in Canada can be considered valid foreign work experience under FSWP. Whether the Canadian work experience gained simultaneously is counted as eligible Canadian work experience under CEC or FSWP. If both experiences (Canadian and foreign) are recognized concurrently and how they impact the CRS calculation and eligibility under Express Entry. I respectfully request access to any internal documents, policy interpretation notes, or officer guidelines that address the evaluation of such scenarios for Express Entry eligibility and CRS scoring. Only provide the final copy or the latest draft of a document. Only provide the final email in a chain of emails. (From 2020-01-01 to 2025-04-01).
