Pursuant to the Access to Information Act, I am requesting access to all records created, sent, or received between January 1, 2025 - present that relate to, refer to, or otherwise discuss job reductions (position cuts) and program cuts at the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), in connection with the Comprehensive Expenditure Review (CER).
This request should be interpreted broadly and is intended to capture both internal and external records in any format, including but not limited to: Briefing notes, memoranda, and reports prepared for or by CMHC senior management or executives; Presentations, planning documents, and strategy papers; Meeting notes, agendas, or minutes where job reductions or program cuts were discussed; Email correspondence and Microsoft Teams messages exchanged between CMHC officials or between CMHC and external parties (including other government departments, oversight bodies, or consultants); Communications or directives provided to staff regarding reductions in workforce positions or the elimination/reduction of programs.
For greater certainty, this request applies to both draft and final versions of the above records. It excludes text messages or other forms of SMS communications, but expressly includes Microsoft Teams chat messages and related digital communications used within CMHC
