Completed Access to Information Requests

Request all information held by VAC regarding the development of the “Discussion Paper on Hearing Loss”
prepared by John Rutka MD FRCSC. Information to include all documents, notes, emails both hard copy and
electronic in preparation of this report. The report is dated June 2010, Updated December 2011. The interest is
in all material used in the development of this report prior to 2010, information held after the report’s
development, to include the update of this report in December 2011, as well as all material since 2011
addressing any further update. Included in this request are all materials held by VAC regarding documents the
VAC or VRAB transmitted to DR Rutka and documents from DR Rutka to the department of VAC and/or VRAB.
Further, any information up until the present date on errors, omissions, suggestions with the original or updated
report are to be included. Requested information does not pertain to the use of this report in any specific
Veteran’s entitlement application, Departmental review or Appeal proceedings. Also, It is understood That VAC
is exclusive of the VRAB. This request is documents held by the VAC.
