Access to Information Modernization Action Plan Tracker
ATI workforce capacity is increased through external recruitment processes.
Institutions have increased processing capacity and can provide timely responses to Canadians’ ATI requests.
In March 2022, the Access to Information and Privacy Communities Development Office (APCDO) launched its first external recruitment process that resulted in a pool of 167 candidates available for appointment across federal institutions.
Since then, APCDO launched five recruitment processes through the GC Digital Talent platform at the PM-01 to PM-05 levels. Over 5,500 applications were received, and as of March 2025, nearly 600 applicants were in the pools or were about to be. There are also six inventories for at-level deployments, secondments, or assignments (CR-04 to PM-05) with more than 1,400 candidates.
