Clear and consistent expectations for ATI professionals are established to help recruit and retain employees, and better enable centralized recruitment initiatives.
Institutions across government have increased processing capacity and can provide timely responses to Canadians' ATI requests.
Results:
The Model Job Descriptions were approved in March 2024 by the Assistant Deputy Minister Access to Information and Openness (ADM ATIO) Committee and posted to the ATIP Professionals GCcollab group for access by all institutions and ATIP professionals.
The Access to Information and Privacy Communities Development Office is leading the creation of a whole-of-government ATIP Career Development Program based on the Model.
