ATI professionals have the tools they need to receive and process ATI requests quickly and efficiently.

Canadians can more easily submit requests to government institutions and receive more timely responses to ATI requests.

Results:

The Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS) has frequently promoted the adoption of modern digital tools to enhance the access to information and personal information request process, by establishing enterprise digital tools such as ATIP Online and next generation ATIP Request Processing Software Solutions. TBS advocates for the adoption of these through policy measures, outreach activities to interdepartmental communities and committees, as well as by establishing and supporting working groups of institutions implementing new tools.
