Access to Information Modernization Action Plan Tracker
ATI professionals are aware of their responsibility to deliver services that are accessible and available in both official languages.
Everyone who submits an ATI request or accesses proactive publications receives the same level of service, in the official language of their choice.
In July 2022 and June 2023, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat completed updates to the ATI policy suite, which included clear direction in the Directive on Access to Information Requests (sub-section 4.1.14) and the Directive on Proactive Publication under the Access to Information Act (sub-section 4.1.5) on the responsibilities of public servants to consistently deliver services in line with the Government of Canada's accessibility and official languages requirements.
