Results:

In June 2023, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (TBS) published the Directive on Proactive Publication under the Access to Information Act, which provides direction to institutions for consistently providing Canadians with complete, accurate and timely government information through proactive publications available in a central location (open.canada.ca). An accompanying update to the Policy on Access to Information set out requirements for institutions to monitor compliance with proactive publication requirements under Part 2 of the Access to Information Act and TBS direction on proactive publication, and report to TBS on compliance in accordance with requirements established by TBS.
