The objective of this construction project is to redevelop Canada’s unused property in Colombo, Sri Lanka to accommodate the Chancery of the High Commission of Canada in Sri Lanka, in Colombo. The 4,100 sq.m property is located at No.6 Gregory’s Road in the Cinnamon Gardens area of Colombo and has been designed as a highly specialized facility requiring a high level of technical expertise to construct. The program requirements for the new Chancery will include, but are not limited to, a two storey addition of 2,000 sq,m. to an existing two storey 500 sq.m, heritage building with major upgrades to the existing building for a total building gross area of 2,500 sq. m. The redevelopment of the property will include office and representational spaces, guard house, new perimeter wall, exterior landscaping and all associated work required for these areas.
