This call-up was issued to the Corps Canadien des Commissionaires with the expectation it would be for short term, guard services for the protection of the Minister's family members. However, due to world events, the services are required for longer. To provide ongoing, 24/7 security surveillance at residence as outlined by CSCD (Domestic Physical Security) during the initial posting of 24 hours per day, 7 days per week for an 8-week period. Due to an urgent and immediate requirement, this will be put in place as of Sunday, Dec 11, 2023.
