Due to the political situation of the US Government where Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced the merging of the US Embassy and Consulate General in Jerusalem, the funding for the International Narcotics and Law Enforcement stopped (which was the source of funding for the United States Security Coordinator that the Canadian Task Force Jerusalem/Op PROTEUS works for). Therefore there is no more US funding for the seven Language Assistants that were supporting Op PROTEUS since the beginning of the mission. In order for Canada to continue the mission in the West Bank, we need interpreters and translators, Jerusalem, Israel
