This contract enables the continuation of the Alternate Service Delivery (ASD) initiative which commenced at 5 Wing Goose Bay, Labrador in 1988, and has proven successful to meet the Site Support Services requirements. It provides for contracted site support services for the RCAF at 5 Wing Goose Bay. The services are Airfield operations, inclusive of Air Traffic Control for both the military and commercial users of the airfield, Transient services, Logistics support services, Foods services, Security services, IT and communications support services, Accommodations and infrastructure maintenance and engineering services to the whole of 5 Wing Goose Bay, inclusive of the Practice Target Area (PTA), which is located south of 5 Wing Goose Bay and is only accessible by air.
