The Department of National Defence (DND) has entered into an enterprise licensing arrangement with Pennant Canada Limited for the Omega Product Support (OmegaPS) Suite of software products. The OmegaPS Suite forms an integral part of the Defence Resource Management Information System (DRMIS) total solution, which is the department's central, enterprise resource planning, automated system and is in the process of being implemented within the department._x000D_DND has a responsibility to provide ongoing and optimal Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) capability - a process of satisfying Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements - to DND's fleets of aircraft, ships, vehicles and weapon systems. The LSA capability is performed by the fully integrated OmegaPS software portion of DRMIS, the department's central automated information system. Therefore, DND has a requirement to support the use of OmegaPS Software suite within Assistant Deputy Minister (Material) (ADM (Mat)).
