Business Transformation Architect required to provide analysis and development of architecture services for multiple Information Technology projects. The department has a requirement for the provision of specialized technical support services for solutions architecture to work to enable service transformation planning. The contractor specializes in enterprise architecture work related to cloud environments. The work will support multiple projects and complex enterprise requirements relating to business and IT transformation in the cloud. ESDC requires an Architect to work alongside Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) employees, to help develop solutions, options and architectures, and to coach and mentor junior staff in a ‘learning while doing’ creation of architecture artifacts as well as to fill the existing skill gaps which currently impact cloud architecture resources in the department. This work is critical to ensure that the department is able to realize expected outcomes for its stakeholders.
