WSP will be required to provide a scope of work for this bridge based on field visits and the comprehensive investigation report previously completed by SNCL. The intent of this project is to replace the Lower Brewers Swing Bridge, refurbish and/or replace the mechanical components, and replace/rehabilitate the existing substructure. WSP will draw upon their experience in bridge design, structural engineering, constructability and providing cost‐effective engineering solutions. It should be recognized that throughout the design assignment, decisions will need to be made after investigation and preliminary analysis that will affect the scope of the remaining work.
