The CR3 project provides RCMP officers with a two-way radio communications capability to support day-to-day Federal Policing operations in areas of mission critical operations throughout the provinces of Ontario (O and National Divisions) and Quebec (C Division). In large part, the day-to-day support effort will be provided by internal RCMP technical maintenance teams. However, in order for RCMP technicians to ensure continuous and reliable operation, Motorola Maintenance Support Service will be required. a sole source Motorola Maintenance Support Service program is required as of April 1st 2024 to support the infrastructure and equipment in use by RCMP’s Operation Control Centres (OCCs) throughout in Ontario and Quebec without disruption. The main objective is to establish long term Maintenance Support Services Program (MSSP) with Motorola for the infrastructure and the equipment use in National, C and O division.
